He is able to walk through punches, because he should be no where near the WW div. Take away Margarito's physical advantages he is an average fighter.

When Marg has faced guys his own size he has looked bad or been beaten, Clottey/Williams.
If margarito were a true MW like idiots like suggests then he is weight drain and when you are weight drain, you dont take punches well. And everybody knows margarito have the best chin in boxing as of now. So GTFH with this lame threads, they are ******ed as hell!!!!!!!

Im not saying he should'nt make the weight if he can make it, im just saying if he were not such a big WW he would be an average fighter imo.

Not entirely true it depends on what time frame you make the weight and how you do it.

Hopkins and Calzaghe have been getting down to 160lbs and 168lbs for over 10 years, from over 175lbs.

Thats right the bigger you are the more weight drain and weak you get to make lower weights, Look at cotto and Margarito for instance at 140, cotto was a huge JWW, but he got rocked a couple of times because he was weight drain at WW He is more comftrable. Margarito in the other hand have never been hurt to the head at WW and when he moved to SWw he got rocked in he very first round against Santos, see the diference?

Paul Williams is clearly not a WW and probably more of a MW naturally, but he still used to make WW.

Look at the mans punch output , have you ever see him tired or hurt? because i haven't, and ive seen him hit flush by Margarito and Quintana on more than one occasion.

If you think Margarito is a natural WW you are crazy son.

Cotto was struggling at 140 when he first turn pro.

I just think its his ability to walk through shots alone. His power is so so as well as his boxing skills and he has absolutely no footwork.

He is an impressively conditioned fighter but that I feel is his only noticeable attribute .

If it werent for his chin he wouldnt be where he is now.

If Miguel Cotto had Margaritos chin, he would be unbeatable at 147 and 154

Yeah its not that im saying he does not have a good chin naturally, but what i am saying is he would not be taking those flush shots off a guy is own size if he were fighting at his natural weight div. And his skills wouldn't do him any favours either.
