      I competed up until around age 20 or so. I'm 28 (29 this year) now. I still hit the gym twice a week though and get in several rounds of sparring. I like helping out the younger kids too.
      yeh i boxed up to the age of 17, won a few titles then packed it in. Still keep up with training. The training does'nt leave me...

        Yep, the training is awesome. Especially once you get to know the coaches. You can really have a laugh with them.

          This is so true. Even though I don't plan on ever competing again, I can't imagine myself not getting a little work done in the gym at least a couple times a week.

          I stay in shape and love sparring and training, but I just don't have the time to hit the gym 4-5 times a week to be competition-ready. With work, family and everything else...twice a week is about all I can do. Works for me though!

            Yep, boxing is a big commitment... Cutting weight does'nt help much neither. Its the worst part...
