I don't think HBO would touch Cintron with a ten foot pole nowadays.

Showtime or Versus are probably your best bets.

Don't know if Versus has the money for this. Maybe they do.

Also, they are not running alot o PPVs this year so I wonder if all of the good fights that are non-PPVs are killing HBO's budget.

In contrast, showtime should be able to host it. Other than the Vic-Arce fight, their schedule does not seem full at all.
Don't ever ever ever ever ever question if HBO can afford anything...EVER!!! It's always a matter of if they want to do it or not, it has nothing to do with money.

link to HBO and my email to them:

I am a longtime HBO subscriber and honestly the main reason I subscribe is because of the boxing schedule you put together. I know you have recently caught a lot of flak over some poorly received matchups like Calzaghe vs Jones and lackluster or just completely lacking undercards but I appreciate that you continue to try to improve upon your programming. One excellent addition would be the upcoming bout between IBF welterweight champ Joshua Clottey and former champ Kermit Cintron. From what I understand the fight is signed but as of yet to find a home on televised network. If you want to provide your customers with exciting fights this one would be a great addition and I think possibly a FOTY style matchup.

          thanks
          Greg
