Clottey vs. Cintron - A Good Fight With No Home

I really really really hope this is on the Cotto/Pavlik undercard. It just fits in perfectly. A NY fighter vs. a Puerto Rican fighter. Both could face Miguel in the future. They need to beef up this card if they expect people to buy it.

I think HBO was highly critical of Cintron (with good reason) in his second fight with Margarito.

I think that's why they didn't want him again.

I am surprised Showtime didn't pick this up but Clottey is hardly a household name either.

I wonder if Versus has the money for this kind of promotion.

It's definitely better than FNF material for sure.

Too bad the Berto vs. Collazo fight is happening so soon. As someone mentioned before, this is a perfect undercard fight for Berto-Collazo. The winners should face each other to unify.

This is a solid fight, but I understand how it fails to make the HBO line-up. If they can't get it on Versus, the guys can fight off TV. The winner is likely to get a much better fight later this year. Hopefully we will see Berto-Clottey on HBO.

That's what I hate about HBO! Winky-Williams, what a joke of a fight! Tarver-Dawson, Klit-Rahman... Clottey-Cintron would be nice. I wonder if HBO cares at all what the viewers think. We're the ones paying for it. What a shame!!!

How is Williams-Winky a joke of a fight? It's a lot better then Clottey-Cintron personally. Clottey Cintron will be a blow out in favor of Clottey and probably won't be that competitive.

Cintron / Clottey and undercard fight for Berto...give me a break. Both Cintron and Clottey would destroy Berto. Berto now is like Cintron before his First Margarito fight except Berto hasn't fought a "Teddy Reid" yet...If anything...Cintron / Clottey are the feature and "your fight" can set it up....

i dont think clottey will get this one, Cintron is the busier boxer in this fight.
