pacquiao/margarito, who's got the better chin?

Pacman is started at 16 weiging 106. Margarito at 16 was 135. Now Pacman is fighting at 147. That is 41 pounds above his first weight. That would be like Margarito fighting at 175. He would not even beat anyone at 175 or even last a whole fight

Margarito got a better chin, but Paco can take a punch.

Margarito has a chin of steel. I don't think that's the smartest thing to have, but it helps.

Paco on the other hand can take punch, but he can respond to it better. So i wouldn't go too far as to saying he has a tough ass chin like Maragrito.

marquez staggered him at 126 and 130. nadal hussein knocked him down and had him about to go at 122. david diaz and oscar didn't even hit him. don't be fools margarito can walk through almost anything.

Oscar landed a couple of left hooks and right hands flush on pacquiao's chin and he took them well.

Margarito has proven time and time again he has probably the best chin in the sport today. He took FLUSH bombs from Cotto for 10 rounds, I mean real hard, real flush bombs in bunches. He took all Williams had to offer and then came back and had Williams all over the place in the championship rounds of that fight. Cintron is a big puncher and twice (especially the rematch) Margarito has taken every single right hand he has thrown. Thing is with Margarito, you hit him and he doesn't get mad, he just gets stronger and tougher and as you tire he comes back with all these strange shots ****ing on your arms, shoulders, neck, stomach, kidney area, head wearing you down. He got buzzed by Santos but Santos was throwing very nice, crisp, powerful shots that night and he came in as a light-heavy unbelievably. It was a temple shot too and Margarito recovered quickly and just kept coming. He also took everything Clottey could throw up to round 4 when Clottey broke his hand or whatever.

To all the people talking about moving up weight divisions etc.... big deal. Pacman has an excellent chin but in general he doesn't take as many shots as Margarito. Plus the fact Oscar and Diaz (His only fights above 130!) didn't even hit him (almost literally) the divisions of 135 and 147 should not even enter the equation for the argument on pacmans chin.

If you really want to see how good the pacman's chin is at 147 put him in with Williams or Cotto (Or even Margarito himself) AHAHA and then see how long he lasts. I'm a boxing fan, who likes a great fight and fighters but Roach would be carrying pacman out on a stretcher if he took shots from those guys!

Margarito jumped one weight class and he got staggered..Pacquiao has jumped multiple weight classes, even 2 at a time and his chin has held.

p4p Pacquiao has a better chin, look at the shots he took from Marquez and recovered instantly.

And the shots he took of Morales in their 1st fight.

Pac has a great chin. Margarito just comes so far down in weight.

Talkin about chins right? lol Marg hasnt spent his career fightin bums in the philipines or glorified old guys. For the last what? 4 or 5 years Marg has fought the p4p hardest hitters in his division and is still standing

Margarito has the best chin. That guy took some badass shots when he fought Clottey, Cotto and Paul Williams. I'm not saying Pacquiao's chin is bad (I think he has a pretty good chin), I think Tony's chin is just made of steel.
