    to put this into perspective...

if pac and marg enters a "who has a better chin contest", where they would enter a gauntlet with sledge hammers that hit them on their faces. marg would win hands down.

now, if you analyze it, take into account their size, who they faced, and their natural weight class, it is not so far fetched to say that pac has a better chin than margs.

Tommy Hearns was known for his fragile chin but managed to be successful in 5 weight classes, jumping weight classes does not neccessarily mean Pacquiao has the better chin.

Hagler only proved his chin in 1 division, yet he's always mentioned when a discussion about the best chins of all time comes up.

no its not but its pretty impossible to compare also marg eats alot more punches than pac due to his lack of defence

              No it would not be.

Pacman is started at 16 weighing 106. Margarito at 16 was 135

Pacman fighting at WW is 41 pounds above his starting weight. It would be more like Margarito fighting Dawson

good point. pac has been hit by punches in the higher weight classes but not as much as marg. plus pac has been improving his defense so he does not get hit as often as he used to.

                i say do the gauntlet

If you are a middleweight hiding in the 147 lbs division, of course you willl appear to have a granite chin. Like someone pointed out earlier, he already "tested" the 154 lbs division but came back down.Looks like his chin is good only when being hit by small fighters. (Even Cotto came from 140 lbs...)

i agree thats what im trying to say its impossible to compare the way marg fights he relys on having a good chin without the chin hes average imo

pac has proven he has a good chin but unlike marg pac now relys on his much improved defence so he dosnt need to rely on his chin as much because hes not getting hit that much

so yeah bring on the gauntlet

i don't buy that "marg is too big to be a welterweight" excuse. if he makes 147, he's a welterweight.
