Quintana was not a former champion when he fought Williams.

i'll tell u why i think winky will lose. his legs. they looked shot in his last fight, granted it was at a heavier weight but still...he's old and been dormant. you need legs to throw off PW.

hopkins, against kelly, had the better movement. winky vs williams will not compare to that fight.

I dont think this fight will be that close. I just see Williams winning a wide UD by just outworking Winky. Winky doesnt throw a lot of punches and all he'll do is cover up in that mummy stance of his and block most the punches with his forearms. He wont throw much back and will lose from lack of workrate.

Id have t give it to Paul Wiliams. He's too fresh for Winky. However, Winky is hella good technically. I don't know if PW is smart enough or witty enough to break though Winky's counters or his defense.

If anyone's gonna make this fight interesting it'd be on PW.

            I'm for PW

i would consider Quintana more than mediocre but he really gave PW a lesson. He used some good technique to get him. Tjis fight can go either way.....I would go with Winky

PW might have had trouble making the weight for the first Quintana fight for any reason but he wont have trouble making 160. so he could look great against Winky. All this up and down will make PW not able to make 147 again eventually like corrales another tall and skinny fighter who overnight couldnt make 135 anymore

I agree 100%... only the UD goes to Wright. I know Williams will be throwing 85 punches a round... but Wright is deadly accurate with his punches. Because Williams is so active, we tend to forget, he is EASY to hit. He'll be easier than Tito Trinidad was to hit.

Winky doesnt throw a lot of punches? Have you ever watched Winky? He throws plenty of punches you dummy. And him handling the pressure? huh? He's the one whos gonna walk Williams down, how will PW fight going backwards while getting tagged by jabs? Even in PW win vs Verno he got hit waay too much. People are sleeping on winky hard

Williams volume will go way down once he starts getting countered by Winky (not to mention he'll have a tough time cracking WWs guard.) As long as his age, the inactivity, and the coming back down in weight don't hurt WW too much, this fight will be a lot closer than people think. Don't count Winky out just yet.
