Floyd Mayweather is too arrogant to the point where sometimes I really dislike him for the way that he acts.

I liked the old, humble, nice, and cool Floyd from back in the Corrales days. Now I must say, he acts like an arrogant prick sometimes.

If he doesnt comeback and fight THE WW champ, whoever it is at that time, and fights for the money, I would be pissed.

C'mon mate, you can do better than that. Every fighter has something wrong with the. Every one has, at the least, one obvious thing wrong.

Ummm, I can't actually decide who my favourite fighter is so this makes it a bit hard. I'll go with my two favourite active fighters.

Toney: had massive amounts of potential wasted through lack of discipline and laziness. Could have won a heavy-weight title easily, but ****ed it up with steroid use when he never even needed it and would have beat the ****eful Ruiz with ease.

Marquez: again, wasted massive potential because of a terrible management team that took too many wrong turns when they should have just been going straight for the big stuff. Now, he's only just getting the recognition he's been so deserving of for so long but he's already slightly over the hill. He was also, sadly, one of those very avoided fighters early on and often given some really terrible decisions because of his counter-punching style supposedly not being as fan friendly, thus losing him fights he should have won.

By the way, I really like this thread and think that anyone willing to put their honest opinion in is giving good stuff. Everyone has a favourite fighter but it's good to hear the fan's opinion of their faults. Some are very obvious, and some you would never think a fan would ever say....See HTownTexas and his Mayweather post. Brilliant stuff mate.

sometimes i think PAC should fight people his own age or younger.....

i would like to defend his legacy and his achievements but sometimes when asked about the age bracket of people he fought, its very difficult to argue in his favor...it's like recently the age range is 30-35 yrs of age and given the question of the quality of the opposition its difficult to answer questions like "did he fight a prime fighter etc.."

i wish he fought someone like valero, soto holt juan diaz etc. at least i can say to myself that my man pac really is the best fighter regardless of age difference or skills for that matter.

Pac's a dog that is easily dragged by the nose.

If he's asked to run for president of the Philippines, courtesy of bluffs by politicians close to him, he'd probably do it right now and sacrifice boxing.

I wish he had his mind totally focused on boxing. He has this chance and talent (despite being a late bloomer) to become a highly ranked all-time great, and he's wasting it all on his political ambitions.

Singing and acting are kids play compared to his political ambitions. I honestly hope he loses bigtime in 2010 so he will finally realize his Pinoy fans hate Manny the politician.
