Lets be honest for a minute.Think back to all of Oscar's previous fights.Has he ever looked like that? Even in his losses and other bad performances, he never looked that bad.Oscar has a heart bigger than Mexico. That's why he always made exciting fights and that's the real reason he was loved by so many. With the exception of the Trinidad fight,he's a fighter that you didn't have to look for in the ring.He was always there to go to war.Where was the jab against Pacman? Where was the moves that was taught to him by Mayweather Sr?Where was the big left hook? Where was the drive at? He's been in the ring with quicker and slicker fighers than Pacman. He's battled with much stronger guys than Pacman.Plain and simple, he's fought guys simply better than Pacman. So, only a fool or someone who doesn't know anything about the "Sweet Science" could say that the weight loss was just an excuse. The weight loss is THE ONLY REASON he loss.Put Pacman in the ring with a small welterweight like Cotto or Berto and he gets knocked out.Oscar may not be the fighter he once was, but at his best weight, he still give the top dogs hell.If Pacman is this great fighter everyone portrays him to be,he needs to beat Nate Cambell, Tim Bradely, and Hatton. And though I'm not a huge fan of Mayweather Jr,if that fight was to take place, Pacman gets embarressed.

      Oscar was not 100%

True, even in his losses he never looked that bad! Oscar has fought stronger, faster guys than Pacman, the weight f-ked him up!

Oscar looked weak, skinny as hell, and tired!

I will never give Pacman credit for this fight....NEVER!

No, he's never looked 'like that'. He's 35, and actually he looked to be very lean and healthy.

Even in his losses and other bad performances, he never looked that bad.
Did he look bad, or did Manny just make him look bad ?
He was always there to go to war.Where was the jab against Pacman? Where was the moves that was taught to him by Mayweather Sr?Where was the big left hook?
All of these things you mentioned are null & void if you are unable to even catch a much faster opponent than yourself.

You make it seem as if he was just standing there.

He was definitely throwing, he just wasn't landing because of the combination of speed & movement from Manny.

Where was the drive at? He's been in the ring with quicker and slicker fighers than Pacman. He's battled with much stronger guys than Pacman.Plain and simple, he's fought guys simply better than Pacman.
What's your point ? Styles make fights. Plus, he's 35 years old.

So, only a fool or someone who doesn't know anything about the "Sweet Science" could say that the weight loss was just an excuse. The weight loss is THE ONLY REASON he loss.
          LOL @ this moronic statement.

The weight loss IS an excuse, and its not even one used by Oscar or anyone in his camp. In fact, they've stated the exact obvious as you, the all knowledgable internet boxing forum poster, and said that camp went fine, and that the weight was NOT an issue.

But I'm sure with the wonders of tehinternets and teh Google and all, you'd have a much better idea of how it affected him than people who were actually physically present during training camp.

Put Pacman in the ring with a small welterweight like Cotto or Berto and he gets knocked out.Oscar may not be the fighter he once was, but at his best weight, he still give the top dogs hell.If Pacman is this great fighter everyone portrays him to be,he needs to beat Nate Cambell, Tim Bradely, and Hatton. And though I'm not a huge fan of Mayweather Jr,if that fight was to take place, Pacman gets embarressed.
          Why hate ?

Like the vast majority of observers, Oscar thought that making 147 pounds was his biggest obstacle and that walking through Pacquiao was a mere formality and didn’t foresee how the weight-shift was going to impact his effectiveness.

It was obvious from the outset that most of Oscar’s concentration in camp was on comfortably making the 147 pound limit because throughout the pre-fight hype he seemed pre-occupied with it and by fight-night his head looked too big for his body and his limbs and torso were grotesquely thin. Making the 147 pound limit impacted Oscar much worse than it should have because his team went about the process the entirely wrong way. Instead of coming down to 151 pound and then drying out in order to weigh 147 pounds for about ten minutes like he should have, he actually burned significant amounts of muscle during training which threw his body’s natural equilibrium into disarray and drastically affected his performance.

Professional trainer Henry Ramirez felt that Oscar should have came in much heavier and commented, “I wasn’t surprised that De La Hoya lost because I actually thought Manny had a chance, but I was shocked by how Oscar was so thoroughly dominated. I definitely think it was a mistake for him coming in below 147 pounds. I would have went about making the weight differently and utilized all of the weight allowance that was allocated, but Oscar had a great team behind him and I’m sure that was part of their game plan, but you know the old saying, you spend months trying to make weight and you’re only there for a few moments.” [details]
Haha... His head always looked too big for his body
