I doubt that very much. Evander knew how to beat Mike Tyson, back him up and keep him there where he is ineffective, and his power is neutralized some what.

IMO there are two ways two ways to fight a puncher back him up and put him on his heels where he cant get the same leaverage, or use lots of lateral movement and keep him turning, dont let him get set to punch, thats exactly what Nard did to Tito.

It wouldn't have made one bit of difference. Mike was on a downhill path and had too many people hanging on to him and giving bad advice.

After he fired Rooney, Tyson never really worked as hard or as organized as he once did. There was also another guy that managed Tyson who died, they said that screwed Tyson up too.

Nard and Evander were both blessed with iron chins too which helps

True Dat, "Team Tyson" was Pathetic, Mike obviously wasnt training right as his fitness once stellar had dropped big, and Against Buster in the corner - WHAT!?

Guys like Tyson need a solid team who arent affraid to tell him the truth and who love em

                      Yeah

Thats why in retrospect i think Tyson was tailor made for Holyfield. I dont want to get on Tyson's case, because i know your a big fan, but he could be discouraged and frustrated even in his prime imo.

Now, when i see Holyfield, i see a guy with an unbelievable spirit and a desire that just will not be quelled, even when he is getting a shellacking, and if you add his iron chin to that, i think its a recipe for disaster when Tyson's bombs dont shift him early on in the fight ,and he then starts asking questions of Mike who is used to not having his men take his best shots and come back for more.
