Freddie Roach: "Ricky Hatton Can Pull The Trigger"

Trainer Freddie Roach views junior welterweight Ricky Hatton as a very tough opponent for Manny Pacquiao. The two fighters are scheduled to meet on May 2 in Las Vegas. The biggest piece of the massive hype that came with Pacquiao's December fight against Oscar De La Hoya, was Roach telling reporters over and over that Oscar was no longer capable of "pulling the trigger." Roach's statement had more truth than many expected as Pacquiao dominated De La Hoya for eight rounds before the fight was stopped. [details]

I think Hattons chances are much improved after training with Mayweather Sr.

I can see him surviving the full distance, but Pacquiao should win.

this isn't the same hatton that fought mayweather. the pre-mayweather hatton wouldn't have done to Malignaggi what he did to him in the last fight. Hatton even had a hard time against Lazcano. Mayweather Senior has changed Hatton quite a bit and Pacquiao is gonna have a handful in May.

how Mayweather Sr improved Hatton? he still was getting tag with the left hook, he still wasnt using his jab, he still was rushing in with his guard open!!!
I´m just amaze on how people buy this BS. He still the same fighter, he didnt improved anything with SR. Pacquai will TKO him in 7

            i kinda disagree.

i'm scared floyd might try to have ricky box more than usual.

while that is a good thing......against manny we need the mauling , grabbing , brawling ricky that won't give manny space to punch.

              Hatton will break Pacmans heart

Hatton will win this fight, Pacquiao will not be able to cope. PBF knocked out a smaller guy with no corner, no gameplan, a hot head fighting above his weight with a joke as a ref. This will be the fastest most ferocious Hatton we have ever seen, marke my words, Pacquiao will be destroyed.
