yea but so did chico..... cotto is good, but floyd was just to hungry at 140. at 147 he obviously stood a much better chance.

as far as cotto fighting anybody.... paul "*****-ass-ness" williams has called him out coutless times..... if cotto wanted to fight him than he could get the fight. i uunderstand that he lets ppl do their jobs but he doesnt show hunger. he just lets management do all the work. all he does is fight, which isnt a dab thing, but it does keep him contained.

And i truly believe floyd is top 5 ATG. As a boxer, you dont have to prove how tough you are, your heart has nothing to do with your skill. To me, heart can get you hurt, and in a combat sport, you have to smart as well as talented.

Everybody is different, not everyone is going to play the loudmouth kid calling out names. And Showing hunger is not running your mouth, it's about being prepared for every fight and having the willingness to fight anybody out there, which is what Cotto does. If you believe Floyd is top 5 ATG, that's your opinion and you should stick to it.

Margarito had a belt for some time, I think, before Williams beat him. DLH gets criticized too, but this is not a thread about DLH, its a Floyd thread.

we all know that having a belt is virtualy meaningless in boxing. and i personally think that floyd should have fought marg, but it has always been obvious that floyd had a plan.... every time he sought after big fights, he knew exactly who he wanted to fight.... he called out chico, jlc, gatti, judah, & dlh..... hatton was for pride. marg is nowhere in the plan, so i dont knock floyd for not fighting him
