I've seen it and that still says nothing about the time in between where he went years without stepping in the ring.

Even ****pedia states he had a ver brief amature career.

He turned pro at 17 as a SFW for cripes sake. Does it really matter that much whether he had an amateur career or not? Cut the dude some slack, he's getting paid for fighting the same types of guys that most people do as amateurs. Wouldn't you?

It does matter when people want him to fight world beaters when he is just not developed enough yet.

People get mad because he gets PPV fights because of his name but they yet the same people want him be at the same level as his father was at the same age. It's pretty hypocritical if you ask me.

Yeah, Jr might be good some day, he might not. But one thing is for sure, if he were to get pushed into a big fight today, his career would be over. I say give the kid a chance, and in 3 or 4 years, if managed right, who knows? People hate the 38-0, because at this stage in his career, it doesn't mean much, but why should we really care?

His father is a legend in Mexico, and he's taken advantage off the opportunities that that's afforded him. Who can blame him and why should people be jealous because of it?

His last fight with Vanda gave me a glimpse of how good he can be as long as they let him fight like Chavez JR and not Chavez SR.
