Holyfield is taller though, which comes into play when you have to jump in the air to land a punch because your opponent is a yeti.
Holyfield also has more fights against big guys. Fighting Lewis, Bowe etc. gives you a lot of experience that helps when you go in against the Abominable Snowman.
Holy is also a lot bigger than Roy. Roy could probably still make 168, and he would have to work hard to put on weight in order to go to heavyweight if he wanted to face Sasquatch.
I think Roy could probably still be competitive with Winky Wright. I dunno, but I think that might be a good fight for him, but he would probably lose. He would have a better chance against Wright than against Neanderthal Man though.
If I was Roy's best friend, I would tell him to fight someone with a decent record but a glass jaw. Let Roy KO some guy in Florida, then ride off into the sunset, rather than fighting Bigfoot.
yeti, abonimable snowman and bigfoot all mentioned in one post!Comment

Valuev would smash Jones and Calzaghe, hes too big. Don't let Evander( who is past his prime but is a great heavyweight who obviously still has something left) fool us into believing that anyone with movement would do what he did.Comment

I have never seen Valuev so bad as in the Holyfield fight
He wasnt motivated and didnt some to prepare well
He was awful against Holy but he can fight alot better than he showed that night
If he comes in prepared and motivated and not like utter **** like he showed against Holyfield- He would knock Roy out
People are judging him only on the Holyfield fight which isnt very fair
He has beaten some decent fightersComment

Hes done because a guy who nobody else could beat.. beat him too?
Thats hardly fair when considering the competition here...
I realize Roy looked bad, then again... he was fighting a fast, volume puncher, when he was almost 40...
Valuev on the other hand... well... if you had to name Calzaghes opposite.. it would probably be him.
Take into consideration the competition first.
Im not sitting here saying he can beat the elite... but Valuev is far from that IMO.
You make some very great points. Skills wise and speed he beats Valuev.. But I dunno if he can get over the height and reach.. the Roy that beat Ruiz, certainly beats Valuev..Comment

This is a boxing forum. We don't give a fuck about your personal problems. Don't bring them up. Don't use them as an excuse to act like a ****. And don't be ******ed enough to blame them on someone just because he is a fan of Roy Jones (seriously, WTF?)
Most of the posters on here have experienced loss and unhappiness at some point in time. Yet they don't try and turn a thread into their own personal little whingefest just because someone doesn't rate Valuev too highly.Comment

Wow, you've been building up to it for over a year now, but you finally broke down and let it all out.
