    Great question. Tough to answer... I'd say Barrera on the basis of the Naz fight. Truly one of the greatest boxing performances of the last 25 years.

                barrera, he is an atg and was better than marquez too, also way more exciting. he was a little past it when he fought marquez and it was a close fight.

                  they both had comparable achievements and this argument will always boil down to their trilogy...Marco has the head to head number


                  that's coming from a pure boxing observer's standpoint...




                  from a fight fan; all i have to add is that Morales always cleaned up Marco's ****ups...from Junior Jones to Manny, everytime Marco got whooped, Erik was always there to restore order...


                  plus, IMO, with that chin and tendency to brawl, he was more 'baddas5' than marco
