the pacman will not fight floyd at 147, the pacman calls the shots here, floyd has no options aside from pacman because hes too scared to fight the top welterweights. its 140 or keep your boring ass retired. ^_^

If he fights pacman (the superfeather hiding in light welter) he would find a way to frustrate the poor guy so badly he would loss his cool and end up like hatton on the floor, pacmans great but he doesn't have the right skill set. If floyd losses his mind and goes after Margrito (the middle weight hidding at 147), all that would happen is a bunch of pop shotting and enough holding to make Margrito start complaing in english.Making for a boring fight that would only end in floyed being champ again and cotto being next in line for a twelve round boxing lesson that nobody would enjoy anyway. So if we can lets just keep mayweather retired, He is one of the best boxers ever but what the sport needs right now is a fight.
What he really meant is that Mayweather's probably around number 40 best boxers ever give or take, but at a time when we need more exciting fighters, Mayweather is the odd man out because he is BORING.

Now that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is exploring his options for a possible return, one has to wonder if the return is worth it for the sport of boxing.
Where did he say this or is it an assumption. I didnt read anywhere that he is thinking of a comeback..anyone that may shed light on this, thnx?

I don't understand why Mayweather hasn't fought Margarito. I am pretty positive that he would win easily as Margarito is simply to slow(with both hands and feet) to beat Mayweather. Even Cotto had success boxing against Tony, but he isn't used to fighting like that for 12 rounds, and got tired. Floyd on the other hand, his style is based on conserving energy, and he could keep pace for 12 rounds. He really did miss out on adding to his legacy by not beating Margarito. I think if Floyd meets Pacman, he could very well knock him out like he did Hatton, especially since his hands would have had about 2 years to rest by the time they finally meet if it happens in December 09.

Theirs a reason why he hasnt fought Tony simply because he'll loose. Margarito took shots from Cotto to the head all night long and he kept coming. This goes to show the solid chin that Margarito possesses. Their are a number of good candidates out there for Floyd to cement his greatness with other then Pac.

              Agree...
Gayweather no longer has the bragging rights here...
If he wants Pacman, it should be in Pac's term... and in terms of money, Gayweather will be lucky if he gets 50-50 split... the percentage should be in favor of who is current the no. 1 P4P...
But he will not make a comeback and sacrifice his so-called unbeaten record... he should stay retired and jack-off into the sunset or maybe give a blow job to his rappers posse... hahahahaha!!!

if thats the case then floyd just stay retired. obviously only your fans want you back. i do like floyd but to see him come back just to fight pacman is pointless but i doubt that will be the case. floyd wil get alot of media up his ass. floyd would have to fight the ring title champ which thier isnt one at the moment

My comparison is that they were both fighting in the same weight at their respective ages... So size wont be a decisive factor if Floyd beats him... Look at how comfortable he looked at that weight against Oscar?
I will not put it this way. George Foreman may be 7 lbs when he was born - same as Pacquiao.

Pac started fighting at 130 when he was 27 yrs old.

Floyd started fighting at 130 when he was 19 yrs old.

Floyd is naturally bigger than Pac and has been at 130 for at least 8 years more than Pac.

Don’t tell me, you’re younger but KNOWLEDGEABLE, just because you prefer the styles of technical boxers than puncher/sluggers? Even when losing the argument, you’ll claim you’re better off in your arrogant ways. In case you don’t know, INTELLIGENT BOXING EXPERT, boxers before the time of Muhammad Ali are really sluggers. Boxing in those days are pure 15 rounds of brutal power. Boxers evolve in a technical sense of sweet science today when Ali showed the world that technical skills can defeat a much more powerful slugger in George Foreman.

However, sluggers and technical boxers are two different styles, extremely poles apart, and needs extremely different boxing skills sets. Skills that you cannot learn and master at the same time, in effect, you have to choose the perfect skill set at an early age. Only at the later age, you can combine the two skill sets.

Now, you’re bragging just because, you prefer to follow the technical skills, you’re far above others who prefers the sluggers skills, c’mom, in that sense, you are just as well as ******. Had it not occurred to you that even the best technical boxers such as Ali lost to A slugger, in the same way, the best slugger as Tyson lost to a technical boxer. Its just a style BOY, it will not guarantee a win. It is always the be better fighter wins in a given time regardless of style but the better skills perfected in a game plan contributed much to the win.

Be reminded, some fans prefer sluggers, for they want to see action (brawling). Others like you want technicians that tend to end in decisions (that’s why some says it’s boring).

Going back to your posts, let’s see who is more inadequate.

badboypeenoy: And Mayweather's only coming back to fight a guy who came from flyweight, he really got balls.

a-raines21: its about the money.... duh! hes a business man b4 all homie.... u just cant wait to see him lose........ hater!

badboypeenoy: Excuses. This is the reason why his return isn't gonna do boxing any good.

a-raines21: whats cotto and marg's excuse for not fighting williams? what williams excuse for picking on fighter a foot shorter than him? what your excuse for being a jackass??

badboypeenoy: What's your excuse for giving Mayweather excuses for being a boring fighter?

a-raines21: hes still the best, boring or not...... jackass (ppl....plz stop entertaining this guy.... he is obviously ignorant to true skill and talent, and he is obviously a jackass....... dont let it go on any longer)

badboypeenoy: With regard to being the "best" that's just your opinion, more boxing fans think that isn't so. With regard to being "boring" more boxing fans think that's a fact.

a-raines21: well the experts thought he was the best in the sport.... so **** what you think

badboypeenoy: The same experts who thought Oscar dela Hoya's going to walk over Pacquiao? This doesn't change the fact that Mayweather's boring.

a-raines21: so u would rather watch gatti get his ass whooped? i mean he sucks, but hes not boring???? maybe he should be crownd king because hes the best at blocking with his face......... it doesnt matter how u win, as long as you do..... boring or not, hed kick your ass
NOW, WHO’S THE JACKASS AFTER ALL? YOU CANNOT CLAIM YOU ARE BETTER THAT ANYONE ELSE, JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW SOME TECHNICAL BOXING.

BE REMINDED, THE WRITER IS JUST RAISING THE ISSUE: "IS THE COMEBACK OF PBF GOOD IN BOXING?" IF HE WILL JUST FIGHT FOR THE MONEY AT THE EXPENSE OF SMALLER PACMAN, THEN RETIRE AGAIN AFTERWARDS AFTER GETTING THE PAYCHECK.

what the hell is wrong with this guy mark vester? i thought cliff rold was bad, but this guy...........

you post "if mayweather returns just to fight pacman, then retires again, what's the point?"

then you go on to post, "a mayweather-pacman showdown needs to happen, in order to sort out the p4p situation......"

you just answered your own question pretty much.

anyway. a mayweather return is all good. ppl are gonna talk about him whether he's retired or fighting, so he might as well give the h8ers more fuel.....
