Because you're a ******. That's why He makes the poor smaller guys like Calslappy and the 26 year old Pavlik move up. And if you call those girl slaps Calzaghe was landing on china chin Jones who easily took them for 12 rounds punches then I'm the king of England.

Great fighter id hate to see him waste his career fighting nobodies.
Kessler is going to follow the Calzaghe model and fight nobodies for the next 10 years until some decent fighters turn about 45.

...thats because his nutthugging fans give him way too much credit for beating up on big name smaller men...asking him to fight guys in his division or a good big man would be like asking holyfield to retire

if this fight comes to pass every left and right hand hook Dawson throws is going to be nullified along with his average jab. Hopkins via Skooling.
this post pretty much lets me know that that you've never seen Dawson fight.

Boxing isn't a ***** sport and i sure as hell don't want to be lied too. If Bernard can beat Dawson then show us you can do it. I don't think he can.

                    C'mon this is silly

The biggest fight for Hopkins outside of Cal is a higher weight bout. Beating Dawson whose only got men Hops has beat under his belt is not sufficient when you're trying to go for extra accolades in your last fight. Fighting Kessler is just plain dumb since it won't get Calzaghe in the ring, it does nothing for him as his last fight. The best move for Hop then imo is going for a piece of the heavyweight title. Bernard himself isn't looking beyond cruiserweight, but his logic is sound for his final fight. Bigger fish in unchartered waters.

He would pose even more problems than Taylor or Calzaghe did because of his size and the fact that neither of them are consistent body punchers like that.
As for the topic, i agree. There is not any big names for him to fight other than Dawson and the perfect way to go out is on top, and since he just beat Pavlik, that's the perfect way to go out. He should retire.
                      Exactly ......

Chad Dawson spells a lost for B-Hop if you go by B-Hop's history......ALL of B-Hop's losses came to UNDEFEATED slick/fast hand fighters.....with all that said, I still see B-Hop finding a way to win!
