My dad who sat me in front of the television while he watched Ali vs. Leon Spinks on ABC.

I accidentally walked into a boxing gym and ended up talking to the owner of the GYM, he was an old Guy just like Mickey out of the Rocky movies. I was a pretty lost teenager and started training and sparring. I found out a few weeks later that the Trainer used to hang out with my Grandfather and some of my other family when they were younger.

Around the time I got into the fight game DLH was fighting Chavez and he was in his prime yet to be beaten.

I kickbox so it was kind of a natural transition... as well as seeing Oscar De La Hoya fight

It's been on and off for years.

I remember the Benn/Eubank/Watson days, absolutely awesome.

Then boxing left terrestrial TV and went to ****ing Sky Sports, and we didn't have Sky, so I had no access to it. I remember listening to the Calzaghe vs Eubank fight on the radio.

Then, my brother started taping fights, which I would watch. Tyson/Holyfield/Bowe/Foreman/Lewis/Bruno. He loved RJJ too, and he would tape his fights and rave about him to me. The funny thing is, nowadays, I try talking to my bro about boxing, and he sort of zones out.
