while i do agree with you that if i was him... i would slow it down a lil bit.. but hey.. we have to think... juanma is hittin the spotlight right now... hes trying to get all the attention he can with every comment...

I don't want him to get over confident and forget who he has on front fighting thinking about Vazquez and get run over. I can give u so many examples of boxers who do that mistake it ain't even funny. He has a bright future, forget about Vazquez for now and he will come in the long run. Juanma isn't marketable yet to get that fight so clean up everything below him and that will change

If Juan can beat Izzy,either Caballero or Marquez, and move up to fight a decent feather and actually win all these I would have to say he is the fighter of the year.

I actually haven't heard much out of Marquez on the subject of Lopez. My post was a for instance more than fact.

God, I hope he gets to fight Gonzalez or Penalosa (preferably Gonzalez) in his first fight.

I think Marquez will also get knocked out of the #1 contender spot since he is fighting Caballero. Either he loses, and goes down, or gets a rival belt, and gets iced from the rankings altogether.

I have no idea who his mandatory will be. Hopefully someone good.

marquez has been quite for some time.....

i rather preffer him to whoop peñalosa... but johny gonzalez will be a good test 2..... either way.... going back to gerry.... hes about to fight eric morel.. so he better be ready... morel is willing and hungry.... and have 5 streaks solid wins... who knows if gerry doesnt get past by morel...

also.... morel already stated that he would be willing to face juanma like everybody else. for the right money

I see this is a JuanMa forum. But I am picking VAZQUEZ to KTFO JuanMa. He hasn't been where Izzy has and hasn't seen this level of fighter. He will become Rey Bautista if he fights Izzy too soon.
