Why did David Haye duck Wladimir to fight Vitali?

I guess Haye must have thought, since Vitali's 37 and has had only one fight in almost five years, he wouldn't be as sharp as the younger, more active Wladimir.

Probably because Haye rather cash out and have minimal brain damage. He knows with Wlad he might take 6-10 rounds of punishment and be ruined and never fight again. Whereas with Vitali he knows he'll get KO'd unconscious in 2-3 rounds, he'll stay over night at a hospital get a few MRI's and catscans, collect his $$$$ and then be ready to continue his career later in the year..
