Cotto will win another title. Khan the most skilled really needs a chin transplant. As for Pavlik he will lose vs next elite.

        What a moron!.

Khan is a prospect, do you fail to comprehend that?.

I am looking forward to seein the return of Cotto and Pavlik in 2009.

I think Cotto will have a big year next year and when he destroys Jennings he will sort Margarito out in the rematch.

I don't think Amir Kahn really belongs in this conversation yet, but all of these other guys will be back and on top (in one way or the other) before too long, EXCEPT for Sam Peter. Anyone who saw his fight against Maskeav had to have come away with the feeling that the Nigerian Nightmare had seen his better days. Shame really, because I liked his attitude when he first came onto the scene...he just seemed to get old, or even totally shot overnight - and NOT as a result of any previous tough or grueling contests. He may be the biggest heavyweight disappointment since Ike Ibeabuchie.

I see Cotto back on top this year. He's a really smart guy and knows how to get back from the ground. This isn't his first mental battle to win over and won't be his last.

Fighters like him are bound to go thru what he did. You fight the best adversity and it is bound to happen. I see him getting a decision over margo(all he has to do is pace himself) and depending on what happens in jan. we might see him with mosley again. If not, he'll just get a mandatory or margo III and move up get a titile and retire by 2010

Khan i Gaurentee u is already better than ever and will get better and better, that loss was the best thing that could hav happened to him! A 54 second KO is not the type of beating that takes alot out of a guy.
That said his chin is his chin and most likely wont improve much, so whether or not he makes it ALL the way is still in doubt.

Peter is a Bum! Looked worse than ever last time out, gave up on himself early and couldnt pull the trigger. Still has a punchers chance and the pathetic state of the division might help him get back in the picture but he sux and i doubt he ever makes top 3 again

Cotto took a real beating last time out but has responded positivly since every thing he has said has given me confidence in him and he sought out Tony again for June. I think he beats him, couple of lil adjustments. Cotto will go on to bigger and better things IF thats IF that beating hasnt took too much out of him which i hope it hasnt but we wont know till he fights a hard fight.

Pavlik i have doubts about, he was a real let down against B Hop and hasnt impressed me since as Cotto has done. He is still the champ and is a very hard man to beat but i think he will be starting to struggle at the weight too and he was SO Brutally Exposed his confidence will be crushed. Good luck tho Kelly

Never saw Mijares lose so wont comment

Khan has all the skill in the world, but he better change his style completely because there is no way he can stand and trade with people above journeyman level and some of them will KO him.

He needs to change into an elusive counter puncher or he will end up 30-5 with 3 WBU defences and a completely shot reputation.

I don't have an issue with the prescott KO, i can grudgingly admit it can happen to anyone, it's the KD to light fisted journeymen before that that convinces me that he will never fight at the top level if he keeps the same come forward style.

Cotto will be back, Pavlik will be back Peters will be back once the Russian mafia retire.
