So let's assume all that will happen and 09 will in fact be his last year, who will be the new face of boxing for those that believe Pacquiao is the new as basically Oscar passed it on to him now.
but to answer this question is Juan Manuel Lopez. Juanma Lopez already had Izzy thinking about fighting Barrera hahahahaha. And guess what? It would actually make some money because of their fan base.

Another Mexican vs Mexican making themselves look good again. But when Juanma get a hold Vasquez or Marquez they would be another OLD, TOO MANY BATTLES, NOT ON THEIR PRIME BUMS LIKE DLH, MAB, JMM AND MORALES.

          Dawson and Ortiz..
Ortiz will win a title, its a matter of time.. His hardest fight would be Bradley NOT Hatton (which i doubt would happen)

Dawson is going to clean 175 then possibly 168

Well you guys are certainly naming a lot of good prospects and great upcoming fighters but, I'm talking about 1 single guy that will be the new face that the public will think of when they think of boxing. Or that 1 big guy that you go out and pay to watch his PPV no matter who he's facing. That's what I really meant. I mean sure, I know theres gonna be a lot of great upcoming fighters like Valero and Lopez, but they aren't going to be nearly as big. Only in the eyes of boxing fans.

Yeah I thought the same thing when answering you're question... The fact is how many fighters really crossover like DLH and now Manny??? Individuals like these two are so beloved for the skills and drama shown in their matches as well as their personality.. Very hard question to answer, but great question nonetheless

and to answer your question, i guess Cotto if he beats Marg in the rematch or Floyd if he comes back
agreed..when manny starts pulling some awesome ppv buys [which i believe he can] THEN i'll call him that..hell even when floyd is inactive for a year when he says anything the boxing world still goes in a frenzy..
