Probably, not many people can say the beat the P4P best fighter in the sport while coming out of an 18 month - 2 year retirement. If he then went and beat Cotto or Margarito i think he would surpass Pernells accomplishments

Hopkins resume gets shat on by Floyds WITHOUT him beating Pacman.

I don't know where the idea that Hopkins has a better resume comes from...

You're just stubborn that nobody rates Calzaghe for stealing a dodgy SD against a 43 year old B-HOP

          Not really, no.

If that was the case, I'd be rating Hopkins resume higher, to make a Calzaghe victory over him look better.

The ******ity of some the posters on this site is astounding...

B-Hop CLEARLY has a better resume then Mayweather. Why question is...IF Mayweather beat Pacman would Mayweather have a better resume then B-Hop or will he still need to beat a Cotto or Margarito?

Remember your talkin to a HUGE Mayweather fan here.
B-Hop defended his title 20 timez
                    Beat

                    Mercado
                    Antwun Echols
                    Johnson
                    Howard Eastman

Was the underdog against and beat
                    Tarver
                    Tito
                    Pavlik

Although none give him credit for this...he also beat
                    DLH
                    Winky

                    Lost 3 controversial decisions to
Calzaghe, and JT twice. This while being past his prime

Only fighters to CLEARLY beat him
                    Clinton/ RJJ

Mayweather NEVER faced that kind of opposition or you can say...Mayweather wasn't consistent in facing that kind of opposition.
