No at this point he would not have stopped him but he'd probably win a landslide UD similar to Hopkins. Pavlik apparently has problems with fighters who actually move.

Something along the lines of this will happen

And then probably get a dodgy SD for throwing a record amount of Slaps... i mean... "Punches".
It will probably happen once Pavlik reaches the magical age of 40, where according to Calzaghe fans, will be his Prime.

I wished Calzaghe would've fought him, but too late now Hopkins beat him and shown him to be exactly what I said he'd be against Bernard; a flat-footed, one dimensional slugger. Told ya.
You were the only one who foresaw that outcome.
Nobody else saw Hopkins making Pavlik look silly before the fact.
Only the wise and sagely F•R•K•O•Stradamus.
Save your finger-wagging for a fight outcome where you actually go against the grain of a vast sports media and neutral fan consensus. Hopkins-Pavlik doesn't count as so much of the expectation invested in Pavlik was desperate hope on the part of his company and some good ol' boys. Hope often turns to blind expectation in those scenarios. Pacquiao-De La Hoya doesn't count, since you were betting in hope and on "principle", then after the fact, Pacquiao suddenly became some kind of Mayweather-slaying demigod in your eyes. Not to detract from Manny's win any, but when the much bigger man comes in a pound lighter than the pipsqueak on fight night, you know something's up. You were hitting and hoping, you know it, and far more astute observers of boxing than you have called fights utterly wrong on this site, so kindly shut the fuck up with the tiresome crowing about your G.A.Y. predictions and how you told some elusive, collective "us" this and that on boxingscene.
