    Would Calzaghe have stopped Pavlik???

I think he might've. Styles make fights, and B-Hop was very effective moving away from Pavlik's right hand...Calzaghe is a southpaw and it would've been easier to do that, while Calzaghe would throw a lot of punches...I think it would've looked like the De la Hoya-Pac or the Calz./Lacy fight only worse because Pavlik's hook is trash.

i HATE to say this, but calz IMO stops pavlik. kelly has very little lateral movement and joes workrate and movement will give kelly problems all night.

      *sigh* CALZAGHE by late stoppage

i think pavlik learned alot from his fight with hopkins and at this point it only helps him, so going into a fight with zag he does alot better then people expect

since when did it become easier for southpaws to evade right hands than orthodox fighters? southpaws are vulnerable to right hands. calzaghe is not stopping pavlik unless he gets the judge that did the manfredo fight....

It's possible, depends on how his hands are. The most likely outcome would be a wide UD. It'd be Lacy-Calzaghe II, and Pavlik's face would be in a worse mess than it was against Hopkins.

I wished Calzaghe would've fought him, but too late now Hopkins beat him and shown him to be exactly what I said he'd be against Bernard; a flat-footed, one dimensional slugger. Told ya.

How many times do I have to ask... why doesn't someone just walk through such a wimp, daggum? You tell us.
