Sam Peter usually comes out swinging like a Neaderthal. He would have had a chance if he had done this against Vital Klitschko. However, there were other factors involved which degraded his performance. Go back and read my posts and you will see that I predicted his loss due to fear of his opponent. When a man is fighting scared he does not fight very well.

Peter was absolute **** in that fight. That was not the same Peter that fought Wladimir and beat Toney in the rematch. I speculate that he's gotten lazy, he doesnt train as hard and just relies on landing a big punch.

Peter was not fighting scared to me. Peter was trying to stay in his envelope and Box his way in, but he does not have neither the hand,footspeed or ring saavy to be able to close the gap. If he had come out swinging from the start and took more chances he would of possibly landed his overhand right, but there is a very good chance he would of been knocked out by walking into a counters.

Yeah, and its probably, because Wlad has a glass chin and is not as effective as Vitali when backed up under pressure.


Ive boxed yeah, but i also did not see any fear in Peter at the pre fight press conference to make me think that is why he lost the fight. Peter just tried to do what a lot of fighters do in the early goings which is stay in their envelope then work your way into the fight, but Peter never got a sniff, because his style is not staying in the envelope and trying to work your way in, but by the time Peter realized it was n't working he had taken to much and did not want anymore.
