Pacquiao is a great fighter, but Mayweather is bigger, stronger, faster, smarter and technically superior to JMM. He also hits harder and has a better chin. Mayweather would be able to do what JMM did, but much better.

Pac has improved a lot in the past few years, but he still has flaws and Mayweather would be able to catch him with a lot of counter-punches.



It's not the same thing. WW and JWW are 7lbs apart. 175 and cruiserweight are further apart than that, let alone heavyweight. By the time Roy came back down, he had already proven himself as a top 20 ATG, if not top 10. Mayweather has not done that yet.

I would be interested to read the interview where Hopkins says that he rates Mayweather above himself. I thought he picked Hatton to beat Floyd...

The Reason Roy is so Highly reguarded is because he rose from middleweight to heavyweight over the course of 9 years.

.floyd should be favorite vs pacman because he is the more skilled fighter. but, it's a matter of personal opinion. many seem to believe pacman would beat floyd due to inactivity, but most have common sense, floyd's mindset is as sharp as a tac, and they know he stays in shape all year round, because he's a gym rat, and that's all he needs to do, he was born in the ring, so boxing comes 2nd nature to him, all he has to do is stay in shape, stamina wise, and he can dominate the sport again, because of his mindset, and he will whoop pacman's ass, you better start believing it pacman fans. it's going to happen sooner or later.

I think Pacman should start favourite, He is more the active fighter. Mayweather will be coming out of retirement and Manny Pacman is in his prime as well as Mayweather. Pacman has more pro fighter so he is the more experience fighter. They would weigh the same come fight night so size shouldn’t be a issue in this fight.

I think it’s disrespectful that Manny P should not start favourite over a fighter who has not boxed in a year or so. Maybe 2 years depend when fight happens. What kind of a P4P best is MANNY if he starts underdog against a boxer who coming out of retirement. .
