        To me that is
        Duran vs SRL
        Pernell vs JCC
Yeah, it's a good matchup and would be very entertaining, but I don't give Pacquiao much chance to be honest.

Cotto-Mayweather is the fight that I would most like to see at 147.

          ummm......that was a typo.

anyways......i think pac's resume beats hopkins. pac has too many wins over 1st ballot HOFers.

so does bernard but difference is while oscar and tito and winky were coming up to meet him , pacquiao was the opposite. he came from 122 to face barrera and marquez at 126. he came from 126 to 130 for erik. he came from 135 to 147 to meet oscar.

as far as skills between bernard and roy , i'm not talking about just boxing skills. hopkins is the wilier of the two and better technically. roy's natural skills like speed , reflexes and punching power are far superior to bernard's.

if it was just technical boxing skills , i'd have floyd over roy because floyd is more polished.

Ok, Do you hold it against Roy that he didnt fight the best Heavyweights although he call himself the best HeavyWeight in the world. And he said would even beat Lenox Lewis and mike tyson.??????

Do you still think he is an all time great even though he didnt clean out the heavyweight division and fight the best heavyweights although he called himself the "best heavyweight in the world"????

It appears you do....So why are you holding Mayweather to a different standard that you are not holding to Roy...

The welterweight division was Mayweathers 4th division
The Heavyweight Division was Roy's 3rd/4th Division
(3rd division he held a belt in)

Can you answer that post with no Hate or a rant please...

Why dont you give Pacquaio a chance?

Pacquaio just Proved he could **** with the big boys when he fought against oscar. He carried the same speed, power, footwork that he did in the lower divisions... He handed Oscar his 2nd only KO, SOMETHING Mayweather himself could not do....

So why are you completely writing Pacquaio off like he is nothing.

I am one floyds biggest fans, but i still give Pacquaio a chance because
he is probably the only fighter he comes close to matching Floyd in speed and footwork...

The reason you dont give Pacquaio a chance is Because he is not bigger than Floyd right?

I hold them to the same standard. If Roy wanted to be seen as the best heavyweight, he should have fought Lennox. He didn't do that, so I didn't consider him the best in that division.

I considered Mayweather the best WW because he beat Baldomir. I didn't rate Baldomir that highly but he was the champion of the division. If Mayweather comes back now then he would have to beat the number 1 WW if he wants to be considered the best in that weight class.

Roy beat people like Hopkins and Toney, and he unified at 175. Mayweather did not unify or face anyone as good as Hop or Toney, so I don't rate him as highly.

Ok, Clegg Just like Roy went back down to the Light Heavyweight division to fight tarver, johnson, and calzaghe

would you be mad if floyd came back and went back down to the Jr. Welter weight divsion and fought JMM, Hatton, and Pacquaio?

Floyd beat undefeated highly rank Prime fighters and clean out at 130.

There is a reason why Hopkins,Mosely,Oscar all said he mayweather is the best of their era including themselves.

Pacquiao is a great fighter, but Mayweather is bigger, stronger, faster, smarter and technically superior to JMM. He also hits harder and has a better chin. Mayweather would be able to do what JMM did, but much better.

Pac has improved a lot in the past few years, but he still has flaws and Mayweather would be able to catch him with a lot of counter-punches.

It's not the same thing. WW and JWW are 7lbs apart. 175 and cruiserweight are further apart than that, let alone heavyweight. By the time Roy came back down, he had already proven himself as a top 20 ATG, if not top 10. Mayweather has not done that yet.

I would be interested to read the interview where Hopkins says that he rates Mayweather above himself. I thought he picked Hatton to beat Floyd...
