i know what you mean, but then you would have to argue that hes going to outbox mayweather at his best weight, that is NOT going to happen.Comment

I saw Junior jones knocking out barrera and beating him twice, I saw Morales(Great brawler) getting outbox by the first slick boxer he faced in years in Zahir raheem, Mayweather would do to Barrera and morales twice as much but he would also know that he was in a fight because they wouldnt make it easy on him.... JMM would be the only guy who would give him trouble but Mayweather would beat him too.Comment

Those guys were only great as long as they were fighting each other and Pacquiao. Once they stepped up to an elite athlete, they would get owned. Junior Jones and Raheem weren't even the best of the best, but they still showed they were on a different level.Comment

ok, Mayweathers Best Weight. Pound 4 Pound number 1 when retired. only a few fighters EVER! YES I SAID EVER would of gave Mayweather trouble at 130. These few were good but not great. Mayweather beats them all.Comment

floyd wins against them all. i see barerra giving him more comp than jmm though. floyd would stop moralles with 7 rounds , and that's a stretch. pacman would lose very bad to floyd. jmm is a great counterpuncher, but his balance is nowhere near floyd's balance and i'm talking offense and defense, fighting off of the ropes or in the middle of the ring, coming forward or going backwards. the floyd that fought coralles, justin jukko especially. his upperbody movement alone would crush those guys, period. floyd at 130 was just too damn fast and had a lot of power. he would beat them all, fairly easy imo. chaves gave mayweather competition because he stayed at his chest and had a good chin, but floyd loved to fight pressure fighters at 130, he countered them so well, and made them look silly. thing about floyd at this weight class, is it was his natural weight, so his physicality at 130 was subperb. i always go back to him fighting justin jukko and you guys really need to go back and watch this fight and in slow motion. watch how he moves, watch how his avoids punches, watch how he counters off of the block, he put everything together at a young age and his stamina was amazing. floyd's footwork offset many to most of his opponents at 130. i mean, imo, he is the most dominant fighter at this weight class, because he made it look too easy. skillwise, jmm, barerra, pacman, and erik has never been on his level overall. his balance was his strongest asset at 130, no question about it. his jab was a veyr effective punch, and he feinted when he threw, that's why he was so accurate. floyd was just too ahead of his time at 130. i also go back to the tony pep fight, where tony pep landed 3 punches in a few rounds on floyd, and not effective punches. floyd was so good at 130, he could have fought for a championship in his 4th or 5th fight, trust me. he was so ahead of his time at this weight, it's not even funny. he beats them all, and soundly.Comment

So is it safe to say that:
Mayweather wins cuz he's the larger good man, or
Because he's just better, or
A combination of the two???Comment

at 130 floyd had no weaknesses.
at 147 floyd has bad hands and lacks power.Comment

I really can't picture Barrera, Morales or Marquez troubling Mayweather in any way. Marquez would do the best because of his boxing skills, but would lose a comfortable decision. He was out boxed by Chris John, Barrera received the boxing lesson of his life by Junior Jones twice(and brutally knocked out in one of those times) and Morales would really be overwhelmed. He looks his best against other brawlers. All great fighters mind you, but none of them would stand a chance against Floyd especially at 130, not even Pacquaio( then or now).Comment
