A Pacquiao-Hatton fight makes much more sense.
The two are a lot closer in size, and are arguably the two biggest draws in boxing now with The Golden Boy seemingly out of the picture.
Anyways, as much as I like Cotto, his stock definitely dropped with his loss, like it or not. It was a valiant effort and I don't see much he could have improved on in the fight with Marg, but he got completely anhialated.
Cotto's got his hands full for 2009 anyways. Although I don't see the outcome being any different from the first time around.Comment

I would much rather see Williams Vs Margarito 2 and if that's not possible, then Williams/Angulo or Williams/Kirkland or Angulo/Kirkland. Either fight would be
MONSTROUS!
Instead of Dawson/Johnson 2, I would much rather like to see Johnson/Calzaghe because I think Glen is the only man at light Heavy that could take Calzaghe's swarm patter punch style & dish out the same onslaught. Also digging Dawson/Calzaghe.
Pacquiao/Cotto would be the most interesting but I feel Miguel Cotto may hit too heavy for Pacquiao but Manny speed & aggressive different angle style might confuse Cotto, to me that's a toss up fight but an interesting one at that. How about Clottey/Cotto? Clottey/Margarito? Zab Judah/Timothy Bradley?
Bernhard Hopkins & Chad Dawson makes the most sense to me because BHOP is the old school veteran fighter with the young heart and Dawson is the future of the light Heavy Weight division. Plus that fight could be a great one to market. All in all I think 09 will be the most exciting in boxing that we have seen in a long while starting off with Margarito/Mosley, Berto/Collazo!
