another mayweather hate thread. who would've guessed? i guarantee you all this. if you're a true "boxing" fan, then you know that the reason floyd gets called boring is because he's lightyears ahead of everybody else. i'd rather be called boring and the best, then called exciting and mediocre at best. i think floyd would agree.

that's because they aren't as highly skilled as floyd, and never will be. you see, floyd prides himself on looking good in the ring, marquez has a lot of skill, with this being said, he will never be a master technician like floyd, never has, isn't, and never will be, and it kind of sucks that i have to make this claim, because marquez is a great fighter, but floyd mayweather is considered to many the most superior technical fighter of his time, does everything right, throws great punches and has master balance on offense and defense. look at both of their careers and you will see the level of skill is not even comparable, overall skill, floyd is the better skilled fighter.

i wouldn't call his fight with judah boring, or his fight with mitchell boring, his fight with corley boring, coralles fight boring, or the n'dou fighting boring. those fights weren't the floyd who fought gatti, yet he dominated those fighters still.

He was lightyears better than the people he chose to fight. He never stepped in the ring with someone who could make him have a good fight and that's his fault.
