    'Weight Drained' and 'Past Prime'

    You guys are hilarious.

Why can't a guy just lose anymore ?

Weight drained and past prime are victim statements.

A loss is a loss is a loss at the end of the day, and regardless of what anyone wants to argue, weight drained and past prime are not documented in the record books.

It's like I was saying here about people using the term "shot" whenever it suits them.

I agree with your point. People here are unbelievable, when their favorite fighter lose is because he is old or he is shot and this and that, they would say that the opponent couldnt beat him in his prime, and blah blah blah. You seen how good Hopkins still is, wait and see when he loses, you will here every type of excuses ,believe me.

To me,B-hop seems like if he was in his prime and at 174 he would probably be better than at middleweight in his prime!Thats a scary thought, seeing how good he was already!!

a loss is a loss, anything else are just excuses, its the boxer's responsibility to be in his peak form during the fight, and if he looses, then he lost to the better man.

Agreed. And regarding Oscar, man, how much pro experience does this cat have? He put together a dream team of trainers, coaches, dietitians, etc. It's up to them to realize when / if something is wrong.

I don't believe people's concerns about Oscar's weight issues are going to cause any changes about the outcome of the fight in the record books.

He's obviously satisfied with the results as well.

It was just inevitable that many would voice their opinions about the drastic and noticeable change in his performance, when comparing it to his most recent fights. It appeared to many to be an overnight transformation. Enough so that a few would claim the fight to be fixed.

But I don't think there will be any investigations by the commission at this point in time.

He just didn't appear to be the Oscar who would fight the way he fought against Manny.
