Wow. That seems really ******. I wonder why none was included?
I can't think of any reason for it, I spent most the time I was watching it wondering why not, the only thing I thought of it that apparntly Setanta played it on TV before it was released, so maybe they didn't have permission or some ****?
He embarassed Hopkins at the end of the day, Hopkins knew that and crying to the ref to disqualify Joe did not help his case either.
You got to be blind(or american) to think Joe just barely beat Hopkins, he won quite a stretch and made Hopkins look like a boat crash survivor looking for salvation.
You're doing a little too much.
Calzaghe clearly won, but nothing like you're describing.

I dunno..
Yeah, I'm not sure, T.
It's like having a DVD of a band's career, only without any music on it!

Frank Warren's 'Sports Network' holds the rights to the fight coverage I believe. To release the footage would mean negotiating with Warren (as well as Setanta and HBO I presume; difficult because there is animosity or no coin for them).

There are no footage because all the rights to his fights prior to his split with Warren belong to Sports Network. That is why he cannot have any footage on the DVD. He has recently employed an image rights specialist to help him. Boxers are one of the last sports men to catch up on the lucrative potential of image rights. Footballers like Beckham have being taking advantage of this for years.
Joe won the fight by about 2or3 rounds, but you've gotta give b-hop some credit - nobody looks good against him. Joe admiited he couldn't get up for this fight, unlike RJJ.
I've just been reading the latest RING mag, and it says B-hop may be looking at one more fight. CHAD DAWSON is favourite. That'd be a 50:50 fight IMO.

I reckon 99.9% of Calzaghe fans will want Hopkins to beat Dawson, just so it makes Joe's win over Hopkins look better.

Joe has ongoing legal dispute with Frank Warren, who just happens to own the rights to most of Joe's pro fights. The only one that Joe would have been able to show was the Jones fight, but I'm guessing that the fight came after the deadline for the DVD.
Joe Calzaghe on his DVD I'm watching now :"This is where old B-Hop wanted to fight, at the end of the day he wanted to fight at Light Heavyweight, he wanted to fight in Vegas, he wanted to fight at this date, so I gave him everything he wanted because you have to bare in mind he turned this fight down 7 years ago, he agreed to it and then turned it down last minute. You know, everything is in his favour, he's got his judges, his ref but he's still gonna get his ass kicked."
A small note to the (mainly American) people who are bitching that Joe didn't kick Hopkins ass at all:
LEARN TO READ, SO NEXT TIME YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE AN UNEDUCATED, BITTER *******!
