Pacquiao, Calzaghe, Margarito in Fighter of The Year Race

the fighter of the year for 2008 is none other than floyd mayweather jr. call it what you will, but floyd mayweather was the name on every major fighter's mind, and margarito and pacman won big victories over their competition only to have their mentioned fighting floyd, and you all know it. the fight they need is floyd mayweather to really be considered the best. pacman became p4p number 1 after floyd retired, but even in his dominating win over oscar, floyd's name was brought to the forefront. his name is the biggest thing in boxing right now, and he is the fighter of the year, or at least the nonfighter of the year, because everybody knows, you're not the best until you beat him. throw all that ducking **** out of the window, tony and pac needs floyd to really be called the best if they beat him, which is very highly unlikely. there's a strong possibility that floyd will be the fighter of the year for 2009 also, whether retired or not. love him or hate him, he deserves the title, period. you watch every major ww fight or jr ww fight and some jr jr middleweight fights and oscar, williams, cotto, margorito, pacman, hatton, ect want floyd to claim theyr really beatthe best. kellerman, lampley, steward, merchant all see this. dan rafael and others see this also. they know.

You want Floyd to be the fighter of the year for 2008 although he hasn't fought a single fight for 2008? DO you know that to be qualified to that award is to HAVE a fight at least for that year? lol

lol Calzaghe and Paq just beat down stiffs. Marg takes on every ****er in his divsision. I mean Mosley is gonna be his first old body. It's gonna be his first step into the Calzaghe/Paq role. But like Hopkins, Mosley didn't really age as bad as most of these older guys, so again. Marg holdin it down, lol that seems to be a trend with him. And respect to Cotto for doin the same **** on his rise to the top.

So yeah, Calzaghe did beat Hopkins though, that was easily Calzaghes biggest win. I'd say Kessler was his biggest win, but Mikkel got exposed for havin no heart. He was in control of the Calzaghe fight, but he completely shut down.

Margarito on the other hand, has fought nothing but fresh hard hitters. Even fought one of the sports rising stars and he broke his ass down. lol Calzaghe and Paq, they just feast on these dead in the water lookin legends. I mean Dawson can easily be Calzaghe's Juan Manuel Marquez.

Plus people are actin like Cintron is a bum or somthin, I distinctly remember Kermit (lol @ that *****s name) bein praised as one of the sports potentially hardest hitters of our time. He would KO guys and you'd wonder why they aren't dead. Thats until he ran into a guy his own size in Marg. Marg took him out, took on Clottey, and then ultimately haulted Cintrons chance at revenge AND took out what at the time was the sports most dominating fighter in Cotto. I know alot of that didn't happen in 2008, but from that you can understand what kind of **** Margarito is on...lol he is obviously not on the soft ass Freddie Roach plan.



Margarito Cotto > Any fighters victory this year...Calzaghe vs Hopkins holds some weight though. Some weight.
