If Pacman and Mayweather both retired now. Pacman should be ranked higher

Oscar was 147 against Manny P. That was not a healthy Oscar. Just re-watch the fight. Compare it to the Oscar that Mayweather fought. You would completely see the difference

Mayweather fought Oscar at his preferred weight. He said to Mayweather he can't make 147 anymore yet he can against Pacman.

watch round 1-3 of pac dlh. dlh was pushing the fight. it was clear he was having trouble with the speed. he just seemed to give up at some point...

on a side note, imo dlh does'nt look like he weighed 147 pounds during the fight. could have sworn he weight more. but hey, facts are facts so there you go.

Oscar was barely throwing. He couldn't even double up on the jab. Oscar weighed 147 fight night but healthy at all. When was the last time Oscar fought at WW is the better question

Of course Mayweather could not KO Oscar. Oscar was healthy and weighing over 160 pounds.

People say Manny is smaller man. They weigh the same weight against Oscar, but Oscar was over 160 against Mayweather and he was 147 against Manny.

Also Mayweather fought Oscar at his natural and healthy weight

stop trying to discredit pac's win. IT WAS AN UPSET. you relying on weight to much on your argument. there are several other factors that influenced the outcome of the fight. and the weight has the least to do with it. imo

Mayweather was P4P best when he fought Oscar at 154 the weight class were Oscar was ranked number one. Pacman was P4P best when he fought Oscar at 147 a weight Oscar did not fight since 2001 and did not rehydrate properly.

lol. too much numbers on that post. i call the fights as i see them.

DLH was past prime but still good when he faced Floyd and Pac. FACT
Floyd was favored to win againts DLH. FACT
DLH was supposed to murder pac at that weight. FACT
Floyd won a controversial sd againts DLH. FACT
Pac tko'd DLH. made him quit. FACT
No other fighter except Hopkins has ever stopped DLH. FACT

now... rumors are being spread that DLH has injured shoulder, was getting beatdown by sparring partners. IN MY OPINION are all part of a propaganda to show that the fight is not a mismatch, cause it was againts many experts and thought pac was just too small

nevertheless, he did the unthinkable and stopped DLH. possibly retired him. that's a better win legacy wise IN MY OPINION

I love the 2 floyd nutthuggers defending the **** out floyd.

Real talk it doesnt matter who faced who in the past. Y'all know what biggest difference between Mayweather and Pacquiao is???

Floyd compares himself to Sugar Ray Robinson but no credible boxing scribe or historian will put him even top 25 all time great

Pacquiao however is still active but actual credible boxing historians like Bert Sugar and Hall of fame trainers Emmanuel Steward and Angelo Dundee are already making a case for him as already being top 10 greatest ever.

So...."Pacquiao is not even top 50 ATG".....nice try Burner, but no cigar.

So even if Freddie says the weight was a big factor it doesn't count?

It would have been interesting to see Pac fight the Oscar that fought Floyd. I wish he had so we wouldn't have to have this conversation. I think it sucks for Pac in way even though at the end of the day, as time passes, I'm not sure anyone is going to care about "reasons" and "facts." They probably don't in the Philippines unless I'm mistaken.

Also remember, the version of Oscar that Floyd fought was not only at much bigger and healthier weight for him {Oscar}, but he had Freddie Roach in his corner. Isn't he like the greatest trainer in the world?
