Since when has boxing's most exciting fighter, also been the P4P King ?

Cus D'Amato:but the only reason why boxing is a business and televised sport. If all fighters where mental and defensive, we'd have to travel to gyms to watch some boxing.
fighters like the Marquez bros, Roy Jones, Miguel Cotto, Jermaine Taylor etc have shown that you can balance out strategy with excitement.
“When you get hit that’s when you’ve got to be calm. A professional fighter has to learn how to hit and not get hit, and at the same time be exciting. That’s what professional boxing is about. You’ve got to be clever, you’ve got to be smart, and not get hit, and when you’re able to do this, you’re a fighter.” [Heller, 97]Comment

are you agreeing with what i said by posting this quote Benny?Cus D'Amato:

Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Whitaker, dela Hoya, Mosley and Roy Jones were quite exciting P4P #1's; The only times being P4P weren't equated with being an exciting fighter was when Hopkins and Mayweather held the title.
But when you say "most exciting fighter" and P4P #1 at the same time, the last time that happened was when Tyson or Chavez held the title. Felix Trinidad, Naseem Hamed and Eric Morales took that title "most exciting fighter" in the 90's and early 2000's.

A fighter will use the most effective way he can to win a fight.
Some guys are naturally more aggressive, and some guys are better at reacting, and counterpunching.
A fighter can adjust his style, however he likes, but really a fighter's style is mostly instinctive, IMO.Comment

YES. The Total package is what Cus D'Amato thought of which is why Tyson was the way he was.
Floyd was cool to watch below 147, above that; boring. Smart, but boring. He pisses me off at 147 because he has the talent to do more but chooses not to at that point time. This is why I said before the Hatton fight that Floyd's quote about how he changed mentally because of his kids, and now fights more cautious, worried me going into that fight. Seriously; why change what works?
This is why I say Pac is more exciting than Floyd and would rather watch him fight if given the choice.Comment

Learn the principle, abide by the principle, and dissolve the principle. In short, enter a mold without being caged in it. Obey the principle without being bound by it. LEARN, MASTER AND ACHIEVE!!!
Knowledge in martial arts actually means self-knowledge. A martial artist has to take responsibility for himself and accept the consequences of his own doing. The understanding of JKD is through personal feeling from movement to movement in the mirror of the relationship and not through a process of isolation. To be is to be related. To isolate is death. To me, ultimately, martial arts means honestly expressing yourself. Now, it is very difficult to do. It has always been very easy for me to put on a show and be ****y, and be flooded with a ****y feeling and feel pretty cool and all that. I can make all kinds of phoney things. Blinded by it. Or I can show some really fancy movement. But to experience oneself honestly, not lying to oneself, and to express myself honestly, now that is very hard to do.Comment

Which is why he works as hard as he trains to PROMOTE and SELL his fights now because of less than fan friendly style. He knows that he wont be able to sell a fight on his style alone. Not anymore of course. Very smart dude.YES. The Total package is what Cus D'Amato thought of which is why Tyson was the way he was.
