Im saying i did not think either of them won it you have to land punches to win a fight and while Calzaghe was forcing the action he was not landing **** and he was made to look garbage in the fight. The fight should of been called a draw Calzaghe hit thin air all night and Hopkins decked him then held all night when he got tired.

Yea the "Hopkins is 43" bit is ridiculous. They just look at the number and say, "Oh he's 43, he must be totally washed up and done for" If you look at his recent fights, you can see Hopkins is anything but washed up, he's not in his prime, but he's still VERY dangerous. I haven't seen anything significant in his latest fights to tell me otherwise. His stamina was amazing against Pavlik, he kept the same fast pace for the whole fight. Had great handspeed, combinations etc etc.

It dont matter how far gone he is, he is out of his prime just like all Joe's opponents the only ones that are'nt are overrated prospects who have fought or beaten nobody.

His stamina was not amazing against Pavlik the story of the fight was that Pavlik was tailor made for Hopkins stylewise, but we all thought he did'nt have the stamina to pull it off , but the weight effected Pavlik and slowed him down enough for Hopkins to control and fight at his own pace.
