Bert Cooper got that short powerfull right hand in because he made Evander trade with him. Louis would have made Holy sloppy, because I doubt Evander would respect his power and box circles around him like he did Foreman. Little Bert Cooper and Dokes traded with Evander and nearly "tore him up" a few times. Something tells me Joe Louis would have done worse if given the chance.
...yeah he did, and how long was he a world champion?...

              EPO: increases endurance

HGH: increases Growth Hormone levels to increase muscle mass; decrease body-fat; increases eyesight, and increase bone-mass.

Testosterone: by increasing the testosterone levels you can increase mass, strength, repair tissue faster, increase speed, etc. It's also said to help rejuvenate the body to keep it younger.

Winstrol: increase endurance, speed, strength, decreases body fat, and adds muscle mass.

They also have a mental boosting effect for confidence as well as focus if controlled and balanced properly.

There are so many to go through with different objectives.

...you aren't the person I was asking...but none of that is "given", meaning you don't take steriods, sit on the couch and become Mike Tyson...simply put, steroids allow someone that is willing to work twice as hard as nature meant...in simple terms, your rest period is cut in half...but regardless, you still need to work hard to benefit from steroids...

Yes, of course; they will not make you an Ali, however; Take an Ali and put him on certain performance enhancing drugs, and he may become even better. So if we pit "natural" Ali vs. "performance enhancing drug user" Ali...is this fair?

What it can do for someone is put them into that next level of "Alpha-Male" level. So, for that "natural" Alpha-male who is doing it right, now has competition from somebody that is taking "help" to get to his level. Does the Natural Alpha-Male come out on top...not sure anymore?

I think it is wrong to the "natural" person.

The problem many face, especially in the Olympics is...should I take performance enhancing drugs just to be on par with the rest that are taking them even though I am "naturally" a phenom athlete. Maybe that Phenom who is natural is no longer a Phenom because the guy that is getting "help" has boosted his performance to phenom capabilities.

Of course, this is as far as Sports goes. I am well aware they are used for Medical purposes and certain people need them just to live a "normal" life. If this is still fair in "nature," it depends on your philosophy.

Of course what Holyfield is saying is just his opinion. He took the hard road and fought everyone, so he earned his right to his opinion.

You need to remember that in his time, he probably heard others opinions on what Joe would do to him practically every day. When you work your ass off, but still get popular opinion against you regarding the all time greats, it can make someone a little bitter.

On that note I will say Holyfield would have given any heavyweight in history a real fight. His heart and determination is up there with the best of them.
