What were your Favorite moments/fights of 2008??

2008 was another great year of boxing

    My favorite moments/fights of 2008:

    - Vitali Klitschko coming back from a 4 year layoff and destroying Samuel Peter in 8 rounds. The Klitschko brothers accomplshed their dream, they're now both world heavyweight champions at the same time.

    - Wladimir Klitschko's 3 dominant victories over Ibragimov, Thompson and Rahman. Unifies Titles, WBO/IBF/IBO Heavyweight champion of the world.

    - Joe Calzaghe coming to America and beating 2 American legends ( Hopkins and Roy Jones)

    - King Arthur destroying Miranda in 4 rounds

    - Pacman completely dominating Oscar and making him quit on his stool.

    - Tomasz Adamek drops Cunningham 3 times and becomes the new Undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world. That was the fight of the year IMO.

    - Lots of great fights...Margarito/Cotto, Froch/Pascal, Bute/Andrade, etc....

          Good thread!

          - Watching Joe Calzaghe come back from a first-round knockdown to win the last eight rounds of his fight with Bernard Hopkins. I was elated when I heard the scorecards being read!

          - Antonio Margarito's KO of Kermit Cintron. I became a Margarito fan that night!

          - Watching JMM KO Casamayor, revenge for what happened to Santa Cruz.

          - Joe Calzaghe's domination of Roy Jones, after a shaky first round

Best of all: The return of Vitali Klitschko after nearly four years, with a dominating performance against Sam Peter, becoming the first fighter to stop The Nigerian Nightmare!
