I don't like Ricky against Bradley and not even sure he could handle the hard hitting Colombian Torres.

Ricky may never be an ATG technician, or even brawler, but he's one of the most popular, funniest and charismatic ever. And that makes him a legend in my books.

I love Americans and the great USA, but that is an absolutely ridiculous comment.

He will always be better than Hatton as well. Hatton is good and certainly among Britain's best ever, but, there are a lot of true greats from Britain. Buchanan, Turpin, Wilde, Calzaghe, Kane, etc etc. All amazing fighters, and funnily enough all of them fought in some of the greatest and hardest era's for their division, well, maybe apart from Calzaghe. Wilde is the greatest Flyweight ever, without doubt. Turpin is certainly a legendary fighter and fought in one of the hardest divisions ever. Buchanan was a highly, highly underrated fighter who beat a number of other HOF'ers and was overshadowed by Roberto Duran. Any other time and he becomes one of lightweight's best ever fighters easily. As it is most historians rate him around 10-15 among histories deepest division that boxing has ever known.

Even a guy like Joe Bugner is underrated. He competed in the deepest era for heavies ever and was consistently rated at the very top, beating a slew of top fighters such as Cooper, Bonecrusher Smith, Jimmy Ellis, Chuck Wepner, Johnny Prescott, Brian London and of course took Ali and Frazier to hard fought decisions. Without those two he would have been a world champion and a very good one. I think a lot of Britain's fighters get overlooked.

I personally dont believe he goes down as the greatest British fighter ever, but you never know. He is 1-1 against HOFers right now, if he beats Manny in May it will give his legacy a serious shot in the arm. So yeah, if he keeps working with Floyd Sr., beats Manny and continues into 2010 I guess its possible, but not very likely.
Lewis is probably the greatest British fighter to date.
