The best Light-Welterweight on the planet - Ricky Hatton

When he eventually retires, will he go down in history as the greatest British boxer of all time?

Obviously he will never be a boxing ATG, but the United Kingdom has not produced any where near as many great World Champions as the USA, partly because our entire nation is no where near as big as the state of Texas!

For me, the best British fighter of all time at the moment is Joe Calzaghe, simply because he has won well over twenty World Championship fights and has beaten the likes of Hopkins, Eubank, Lacy, Roy Jones Jr. and Mikkel Kessler.

It's pretty funny that you ask us if he could be the greatest Brit of all time but he still will never be an ATG. I think you unintentionally insulted Britain.

Felix Trinidad is fat, inactive, and way past his prime. What does beating Tito prove.

No actually I don't. Anyone can have an opinion on who is the best fighter in a division, it makes perfect sense.

Who else would be the best 140 pounder besides Ricky? Kendall Holt, Tim Bradley, please.

                  Nope, not "unintentionally" at all.

I know where the United Kingdom stands in terms of boxing.

We may have produced many great soccer players over the years, but we cannot match you Yanks when it comes to boxing.

I mean, we are a tiny little island for Heaven's sake!

Well I think you're underestimating your boxers then. Lennox Lewis is without a doubt an ATG.
