also equals more deaths, more brain damage
you want to turn back time, but are just being selfish, cuz you want people to up the risk of death/disability for your own pleasure
      it's kinda sick

Most boxers get hardly anything, you have the top few guys earning loads but outside that there is not much money in boxing, If your only intrested in money your better off doing another sport.

but this is boxing ... Hagler, Hearns Leonard they regularly fought 15 round fights .. do they look like they're disabled ? ... more fights doesn't mean
more damage (unless they suck) ... it means the fighters get better at it
name one hungry fighter nowadays (maybe one or two like Pac) .. you can't ... and these days fighters are quitting from cuts, and suing each other ...
more fights doesnt mean more damage or deaths unless the fighter
sucks then they shouldnt be in there anyway ...

back in the day no way a mayweather would get away with not fighting
who the public demanded he fight. no way the heavyweight 'champs'
not unify ... how can there be more than one heavyweight 'champ'
there can be only one champ .

Pac would have fit in with the greats ... but in the past
fighters like him were the norm ...

Hearns may not be "disabled", but he's suffered brain damage.

                Hearns in his early 20s:

Larry Holmes never unified during a 7 year reign.

If I had a magic stick I'd let the boxers keep the majority of money, but who gets what is dependant on what happens in the fight. I'd make it that the winner maybe gets 75% and the loser takes the remaining 25%. That way you'd get less guys coasting or fighting half-hearted and less chance of the situation where fans are left feeling they were ripped off by a fighter, like many thought they were by Oscar vs Pac. Only way this could happen is if there was a worldwide governing body with enough power to enfoce such a thing. So no chance of it happening this century.
                  Agree 100%

I think athletes as a whole are overpaid. Boxing is the only sport that I don't consider a "game". The training regimen, the physical toll on the body during camp, the discipline, and the punishment on fight night (sometimes) is un paralleled. No other sport, including MMA, taxes an individual more than a dedicated fighter. We look back and say that it was "in ring" punishment that breaks fighters down over the years. I think the strain of camp after camp after camp has just as much to do with the aging of a fighter (unless you're James Toney... in that case, camp consists of switching from Full Flavor Beer to Light Beer).
