In a fair fight, with a neutral referee, Hatton would have won.

Cortez wouldn't allow him to fight on the inside. There was no way a man with Hatton's 20" arms can defeat a man with Mayweather's 27" arms fighting on the outside.

was Vegas, not Floyd. Hell, if you thought the punches Floyd threw hurt Ricky with 10oz gloves, what would happen with 8; is there a difference?

I'll have to find the rule book but I thought holding and head-locks were supposed to be broken up by the ref?

This fight alone should give any Floyd fan worries that Pac could possibly beat him. Floyd hasn't been on top of his game for a while. The only time he looked good was later on in the fight when he decided to open up.

which can be used in the fight between Tszyu vs. Hatton. Hatton wore down Tszyu with grappling most of the fight. For Tszyu at that point in time, that's a good way to take advantage of his inactivity, age, and weight-division he was fighting at.
