What I don't understand is that Floyd never really give a **** about his fans about fighting the "best". Yet those "Floyd fanatics" criticize other boxers for not fighting the best right away.

A bit unfair.
I thought Floyd should have fought the best at 147 but he didn't do that so I rip his legacy there. However, under that he did face the best: Diego Corrales was undefeated and was like the young Foreman tearing through the LW division: Floyd schooled him and knocked him out. The undefeated Hatton defeated the best at 140 in Kostya Tszyu and refused Floyd twice. When the fight was finally made, Floyd knocked him out.

Hatton may of defeated the best at 140 but fought Floyd at 147. I think it would of been closer if the fight would of been at 140 instead.
