the thread starter doesn't know s-h-i-t about boxing! only thing he knows is that a rich black brash "******" boxer has been accused of ducking a rican! it pisses him off that a negrito is getting all this money and attention that someone "lighter" should be getting. What a dumbazz! Ask him something technical about the fighters who he is ducking or even the sport. Watch how he responds.
shou a fighter rock his "0" if he never faced the 3 guys who could beat him?

So we are now into weight instead of talking about the Fighters fighting each other.
So you would agree then with Freddie Roach's idea that you should beat a fighter on the scale instead of fighting a healthy fighter in the ring?
I'm more about seeing who is the best inside the ring with both fighters healthy.
Hatton had two chances to fight Floyd at 140 yet he refused so Floyd moved up to get to Oscar. Floyd was Champion at 147 so why move back down especially since there is not point in draining weight for the weigh-in if you are going to have rehydrate for fight time. Safer for the fighters to just fight at 147. Ball was in Floyd's hand.
Remember, Hatton fights at 149 by fight time when he fights at 140. Floyd fights at 149 by fight time when he fights at 147. The only difference between these two is that one dehydrates 9 pounds for the weigh-in to make weight at JrWW and then rehydrates 9 pounds for fight time...and the other, takes one bathroom break to piss out 2 pounds for the weigh-in and then drinks a 32 oz bottle of water to rehydrate for fight time.
Floyd knocked out the best fighter of the 140 pound division.Comment

I've always thought it was Floyd's lack-luster performance against Oscar that gave Hatton a boost of confidence to get a fight with Floyd.Comment

Yet neither fighter actually fights on fight night at 140 and both were said to weigh the same weight on fight night at 147.

sorry but this is the absolute truth. anyone who was around and was a floyd fan at his 147 debut against sharmba mitchell will know that floyd got HELL for it and everyone said he doesn't belong at 147 because he fought horribly and was hit ALOT against mitchell and EVERYONE and their mothers were talking for months how floyd will be soon knocked out at 147 because sharmba mitchell was rocking him etc even though the truth is that floyd merely had no respect for him and just walked him down and was slugging with him and KTFO him with a body shot showing good 147 powerComment
