I still like the kid alright. He just pissed me off making excuses after losing to Hopkins, bronchitis, a sore elbow, some infection, the weight, etc.....

There's no shame in being outclassed by a guy like Bernard.

Overall, I still like Kelly though. And I'll support him against Abraham.

I'm certain Calzaghe would do Pavlik over the same way as Hopkins did, Hopkins was faster and set the tempo by using lateral movement. Calzaghe is faster than Hopkins and can also use lateral movement which seems to be something Pavlik cannot get over. He was throwing hardly any right hands because he could not get any leverage with the right hand because Hopkins was moving to the left. I thought Pavlik would be beaten by Hopkins before the fight anyway, Pavlik's defense has too many hole in it for him to be a great champion and his chin doesn't compensate especially in the higher weight classes.

Yeah, but with work I think Pavlik's defense could improve and I give him a pucher's chance. I like Calzaghe just fine, but Enzo just has a big mouth and that's why I'm not that big of a Calzaghe fan. Just my opinion.

His defense will stay the same, unless he gets rid of Jack Lowe.

True. I know he is his hometown boy and that's what kelly is all about, but he needs to get a new trainer, for the defense aspect anyways.

Well I think he's gone as far as he's going to go with Lowe. I think Roach would be a far better trainer he's great with offensive minded fighters, Pavlik needs to sharpen his defense and work on cutting off the ring against someone who uses alot of lateral movement.

Don't count on it. I don't think Kelly will ever get rid of Jack. The have a very special bond. If nothing else, they should bring in another trainer to have with Jack, to work on the things Jack cannot teach Kelly, like the defense, movement, etc.....

Never say never though. I never thought Hatton would sack Graham either.

joe would be a tough fight, but he gets hit alot more than bhop. kelly would be best to try and blast joe out in the first couple when he has seemed his most vunerable before he gets a rythmn. if he can't, and joe gets into a rythmn it's a clinic.
