This will likely be a PPV.

I hope Arum's undercards get better in 2009. If this fight is co-promoted by Sauerland, we should have another good fight or two on the card.

I like both guys, but it's still hard to call. Abraham is very tough, he has a lot of power and a fairly good defense. Pavlik is still one of the top, if anything, still the top middleweight, and he always performed optimally at 160.

Pavlik has next to no support since losing to Hopkins. It's insane the way people here have turned their backs on him. As if losing to a legend like Hopkins is something to be ashamed of.

This will be one hell of a fight though. Especially if Abraham is more active than what's expected of him, which I believe he will be.

Neither man is afraid to scrap, and it's got all of the key ingredients for a barnburner.

Like I said everyone jumps off the wagon after one fight.

Most of his fans were bandwagon jumpers who easily jump back off so it's no surprise. It was always going to end in tears, although I wanted Calzaghe to do him instead of Hopkins.

Abraham hits harder, is faster and has the better defense and chin. Pavlik is more consistant though, even if Abraham gets caught with something big I think he can take anything Pavlik can give out, he fought 6-7 rounds with a broken jaw against Miranda and didn't quit and was never hurt to the point where he was going to drop.

I see Pavlik winning the opening rounds with his workrate and jab but unable to land anything significant to the head because of Abrahams earmuff defense. Then Abraham starts to open up and take advantage of Pavliks lack of defense and drops him en route to a KO.

That's how it is. It's why people put so much emphasis on the 0 in one's record, it's like when a fighter loses, he is damaged goods or something.

A calzaghe fight would be great. They both like to throw alot of puches.
