Noone is in doubt that the decision last night was a travesty. This makes Hulk angry. GRAR! Holyfield won almost every round. The judges were not merely misguided. Rounds went past where Valuev threw single figures of punches very few of which landed.

HOWEVER! Hulk has never seen Valuev do so little and so badly in a fight. He looked unhappy and had a long discussion after the first round with his trainer.

Did Valuev know the fix was in and either deliberately do nothing in protest or was he so put off and distracted that he didn't get in to the fight at all?

Hulk says that Don King is scum and Valuev as a decent guy couldn't fight under those conditions.

You're kind of weird but that makes a little sense. Valuev himself did'nt even want to fight Holyfield. I don't understand why they made this fight it was a lose lose situation for everyone involved.

Very interesting post. From what I saw of the fight, before the stream went down (haven't seen the video yet) it did not look as though Valuev was trying at all whereas Holyfield looked totally vulnerable. I think that V. has been mixed up with the mob for a long time. There's a good chance you are right on the money, Mr Hulk.
