Good win for guzman coming off his biggest mistake of his career, he's on the right path. And for those laughing at who is opponent is, what do you think guzman could land a shot with JMM, Pacquiao, Diaz, etc.? lol give me a break, after his blunder he goes back down in rankings and has to work his way back up the hard way. This was an eliminator fight too so he's on the right path, a couple more wins and he's right back in the title mix.

And i never understood why so much hate for guzman on this site, the guy has incredible skills. Yeah he showboats a lot for some people's taste but don't lie to yourself and say he sucks, he's better then just about every fighter out there....the only guys I see guzman possibly losing to are pacman and marquez. other then that guzman could beat the rest of the division.

I like Guzman, and willing to forget whatever he done as long as he fights.

I wonder if any network will ever again extend a TV date to him.

Pulling out hours before a fight is not a good way to endear yourself to the only people who can ensure you get significant fights/paydays.

yes, as long as he doesn't have any mishaps. he'll need to rebuild his trust before but it's not like he's the first fighter to not make weight, castillo, diego corrales etc.
