Nady should have deducted points earlier. Those low blows and head butts were frequent and deliberate.

Fighting dirty was Lorenzo's means of survival. If he hadn't fought dirty and thrown Soto of his game a bit, Lorenzo would have been KOed by the middle rounds.

there wasnt a whole lot soto could have done between all the holding, low blows and headbutting that the ref tolerated. lorenzo could have been deducted a point in every round

I agree... I think that was lorenzo game plan just to fight dirty and try to survive. He fought clean the first fight and got KO'd. I hope they ban that dirty ***** from boxing.

Through the mid rounds he then started backing up too much and letting Lorenzo lead everything. Not the way Soto normally fights and he didn't do a good job of boxing him. Still, he won, and may have hurt his left hand I think. He kept showing it to someone after the fight....
That could be it because he looked pretty tired as the fight went on, or it could have been making weight because he did come in over the limit on his first try yesterday.

Soto definitely didn't look good in the fight and he fought a pretty bad tactical fight so I guess the old saying win the fight, look good next time applies here.

I'm not sure about that, fighting his way up in Mexico, he must have been in with his fair share of rough housers, I don't think he would get too bothered by it.

Soto looked good in the first two rounds. Rocking Lorenzo a few times.

Lorenzo got desperate and hit Soto with a huge lowblow. Threw Soto off his game.

Yeah, he definitely was tired in the latter rounds. Looked like he was starting to really push his punches and wanting to get the fight over with. Hopefully he gets a big one next.

I didn't realise he missed weight, so yeah, that's very possible. Maybe he thought it would be even easier this time out and didn't realise Lorenzo would come in firing and fighting like his life was at stake.
